Excellent food, well recommended! The staff were impeccable! We tried the simpsmash burger and it was gorgeous! Honestly the best burger in Stoke on Trent! The desserts were also amazing! So happy you’ve opened up here in Newcastle! Good luck to you guys!
Food was very nice and the premises was clean and relaxing. Chef was helpful about food contents. Vegan, vegetarian or allergies. Will be going with family as they have a upstairs room.
Value for money is spot on and a lot cheaper than some places! These guys know how to make a desert that’s for sure. Always go above and beyond on every order! Perfect!!

Been going to Shalimar for over 25 years now. Best balti in the area by a country mile, immense naan breads. Never had a bad meal here. Top service, fantastic family business with great food every time.
Lovely curry house and our all time favourite. Very friendly accommodating staff and the food is all freshly cooked and is excellent. I highly recommend the Pathia it is the best I have had anywhere and the family naans are just enormous. Good range of curries and you can add any ingredients that take your fancy when you order. Save a few quid and take your own wine/beer, they provide glasses and ice free of charge plus they even offer a free fruit shoot for the children. To top it off they offer free shots at the end of your meal. Good value, clean and friendly with excellent food what more could you want?
I'm reading some of these previous negative reviews and thinking do people actually know what an actual traditional curry should look and taste like.....Shalimar have been in the business a very long time and its an experience like no other from the time you walk in till you exit the premises. Its a family owned business with family like virtues & traditions. They make you feel like family. The food is brilliant....5 stars for me all day long !! Give them a try!
I visited indulgence with my daughter to celebrate her birthday and I must say I am extremely impressed by the efficient service and great tasting desserts!! The front worker , Ash displayed a high level of professionalism and explained to us each dessert on the menu to make sure we were satisfied with our orders . An excellent place and we will definitely be returning !
